In Houston, Texas, our team developed and managed a countywide HIV Client Case Management network, which was declared the most effective centralized data collection and management system of its kind by the U.S. Office of Management and Budget in a national Ryan White Grant field test. This award helped us secure major federal Grants and set the standard for real-time HIV/AIDS data management of the time.
For the Harris County Hospital District in Houston, Texas, we were part of the team that installed their system-wide LAN and integrated it with their 32xx Controllers and 3090 mainframes. Their network spans three hospitals, the County’s Administration offices, and 12 community clinics. The entire network utilized approximately 2,000 IBM terminals, 200 PC workstations, and interconnected 12 LAN’s.
